Yoga and Ayurveda recognizes that we are all unique, and that when making decisions about the food we eat and the activities we engage in, its not about right and wrong, good or bad. It’s about how we each uniquely react.
This retreat, we slow down and take time to learn about this unique being we’ve been entrusted to care for: ourselves. During this retreat we will:
- Learn some basics of Ayurveda, a sister science of yoga and use Ayurveda to determine our unique constitution (our dosha)
- Learn the characteristics of being in our doshic balance, and out of balance, and how to respond
- Experiment with a way of thinking that relies on our own inner wisdom, rather than outside input, to determine the best foods, activities, and practices to keep us balanced and in flow
- Experience targeted meditations to access our deeper knowledge
- Learn yoga practices to help us feel our best
- Settle into journaling sessions with guided prompts
- Create a workbook specifically about the care of you
- Nourish ourselves with healthy food and positive community
